So I got everything entered. Under setting/Vehicle/Lighting I now see Glare-Free Lighting.

Following the code I see one thing I am unsure of. Under the HCM module how should this be entered

734-01-04 xx56 D1 <<<Raptors

Is it 734-01-04 xx56 D1xx?

I have no pop ups on the dash but I do see a dtc in forscan that doesnt produce a light. It says code u2101 - control module configuration incompatible. I am not sure if this is now normal or I am putting the D1 in the wrong location. Someone please clarify.

Thanks

Yeah, you should have D1xx, leave whatever you have there alone. I grabbed this image from jayrod on the f150gen14 thread on the subject. I do not know what the u2101 code would be from. Clear it and see if it comes back.

Thanks, Yes it keeps coming back after I reset the module in the wrench. I am missing something somewhere. I checked everything over 3 times.

I don't know how many other charges you have done, but you could always revert all back to your original asbuilts and start over. Ha!

Just added the Glare Free mod a short while ago. Success…BUT, I got the same DTC as @taco-13 Plus a “Check Headlamp System” message on the dash. Also noticed my low beams won’t shimmy left or right when turning the steering wheel. Erased HCM DTC as well as resetting the module and still no dice. Will check things tomorrow.

Also noticed when updating HCM to 734-01-04 xx56 xxD1, it’ll automatically change to 734-01-04 xx56 A137 after cycling truck off then on just as @GoldBeach pointed out.

I think your pop up is from the 734-01-04. It should be xx56 d1xx. That should get rid of the pop up on the dash but won’t fix the dtc issue we have. Good catch on the headlights not acting correctly I missed that.

I’ve had many vehicles, including my wife’s Cayenne currently, that swivel the headlights. I don’t drive much at night lately but I haven’t noticed the Raptor has that feature. I don’t find the feature much to write home about.

Antidazzle on the other hand sounds great and I’d gladly give up the swivel for that.

Since the passing of the infrastructure bill, there was a section in it which finally allows antidazzle in the US so perhaps dealers can now turn it on.

Are the day time running lights just the amber rings around the front lights? Trying to figure out if those changes shut something off on me.
