Interested on feedback from those with experience with both dual and single live valves in the Gen3. I hear the 2024 dual live valves are a big improvement over 2021-2023 live valves with or without E-click. Especially curious how the Gen3 with E-click compares to the OEM dual live valves. Thanks.

Same question here. Deciding if I pick up an 801a and put e-click on it with the flexibility for the new factory race series if they ever come out. Or jump up to an 802 and just be happy with the stock suspension. Look forward to hearing what people have to say about the new dual valve shocks.

I guess I can answer this kind of, albiet maybe a little biased.

I own a gen 3 truck on gen 2 FRS shocks that gets rode hard and put away wet. Ive as well driven a 24 37P with a dual live valve on the same track/trails.

Now, the dual valve trucks dope. Like real dope. Would I pay the 11k extra for it? Eh probably not. Maybe like 4-5. The gap in price between the 35 and 37P is just nuts in my opinion especially when 35s are usually discounted below MSRP.

Now- if you offroad a lot, id say an eClik set up with the single valves the move and tacking on FRS is dope and in my opinion performs better. But the dual valve eClik set up isnt far away. Like later this year . Gen 3 FRS, eh we’ve been told end of next quarter since 2021 lol.

Personally, id get the single valve truck and upgrade it with eClik/FRS for cheaper than the 37P truck with dual shocks. Some may disagree, id understand and respect their opinion but by my experience offroad i stand by my statement.

I think you likely have more control with the ability to control rebound and compression independently, but comparing the FRS shocks to the stock dual valves for hard off roading, you’ll have significantly more fade resistance with the FRS shocks based on fluid volume alone. And the E-Clik is pretty cool and compatible with FRS as you said.
