How much were they going to charge you? Should only be an hour to diagnos and then maybe they would find that it is warranty? I feel for ya, very frustrating.

1) Did you also check the BCM fuse? (fuse 35; 5 amps)
2) Are all the ON indicators inoperative?
3) Do you have a moonroof? You may have to get your hands dirty and check the ground and voltages at the connector. The upfitter switch indicators have a unique ground circuit that we can test resistance.

1. Just checked the BCM fuse(passenger floorboard right?) and it was good and had power to it.
2. Yes ALL the indicators are inoperative
3. I do not have a moonroof.

I also pulled the overhead console and made sure they were plugged in.

It wasn't really how I wired my lights, but I left the wires out and not tucked in. And I had a lot of extra loom next to the battery because I hadn't finished the install. To be fair if you didn't know what the wires were it would look bad but I figured the tech would know.

I'm going to put everything back to stock and take it to another dealer, after I double check all the fuses like you suggested.

The rep originally called me and said the tech was concerned about all these capped off wires from the PCM and was surprised my truck was even running. I had to explain what upfitter switches were. Talked to the manager and he said they did a full diagnosis. So I said if they found the issue it would prove that the wires being pulled out didnt matter. I asked him what the issue was and he back tracked saying he didn't talk to the tech. So I dont think they actually looked into it. He didnt end up charging me.

What a freak show. This should be simple for Ford to fix. Somebody must know whats going on, it can't be too serious. Eventually you will hopefully laugh it off.

Yeah Im hoping its just something not plugged in. I just wish I had a wiring diagram to see where everything is since there is power to the passenger floorboard fuse.
