Did a bit of searching on the forum, couldn’t find too much but has anyone swapped out the OEM rubber lines for some braided stainless steel lines. Curious as to what you went with and why. Thanks. Cheers.

I have stainless steel lines for my clothes washer. But perhaps stainless lines for brakes are medicine man science? Are there any real world tests to prove they improve performance?

Probably medicine man science. I did it at the same time as the brakes, so a comparison is impossible. The theory is that the rubber lines expand slightly under pressure and the stainless won't. Slight difference in peddle feel. In the overall cost of the brakes, the lines did not add that much, so I figured, might as well try it. I do know they are stronger and will hold up better to off road crap. That is the real reason I did it.

Medicine man stuff definitely. I run rubber lines on my race car.
