I had the same debate, I went for the Raptor since I wont be getting the camper for at least 4 years. In 4 years, I will get a SD if I still plan on a camper.

The things those Carli trucks can do are just insane.
i do agree with this. if they come out with an all out package for the 17+ 250 i might have to get one of those also. that thing is a beast mode on russian juice

Well I ended up canceling the order. I just couldn't get my mind around a V6 truck. I drove one and they are awesome, but for what I plan on doing the F250 was the right choice. Brand new 2016 F250 Super duty fully loaded Lariat for $11k off MSRP.

did you go with the power stroke? Ive been pondering a SD with 430 gears and the 6.2. Its about 10,000 less in canada. I dont tow much and cant justify the crazy price of the diesel .

Yes I got the 6.7L diesel. I wanted the extra towing and hauling capability. Once I get it paid off I plan on getting a Gen 1 Raptor.

the 2017 SD can be had for 11k off MSRP, not sure why you would have gotten a 16, there were significant changes from 16 to 17 on the SD - and it could have been had for the same or less than an 18 raptor.

I bought the 2016 because I like it better, especially the interior. I don't like that the cabs are the same as the F150 now, the 2016 interior is unique. I don't need all the extra bells and whistles the 2017 has. And I wanted the steel body. I paid WAY less than an 18 Raptor. The 2016 F250 is less than the 2017.

So can we close this thread? He bought an F250...

You can if you want to. I'm still gonna buy a Gen 1 Raptor.
