I’ve got 61,000 miles on my truck and front right wheel bearings need to be replaced already. Anyone else had to replace them so soon?

I had to do one so far. 75k, not really surprised they have been tested a few times even with sand trips :biggrin:

Not common…how were they diagnosed as failed?
I could wiggle the front Right wheel about 1/4”, but the driver’s side was solid. Having both hub bearing assemblies replaced, and keeping the driver ones as backup, to have a spare in a pinch. You never know given supply chain when I may need an extra.

There have been a couple members on here who have mentioned having to have replaced them, but not to any extent that it would be a maintenance item to worry about.

@WillieFlo

What hub brand/model number are you going with? I found 2 motorcraft model numbers on advance’s website that appear corrected, but one is like double the price of the other.

Did you confirm the movement is in the hub itself and not the inner or outer tie rod?
