GEN 2 Gen 2 Catch Can install?

Anyone installing a catch can on their Gen 2? Anyone got a video of it? Best place to get it from? Looking for a kit.

Personally I don't think you really need it. The gen 2 EcoBoost has port injection along with DI which should basically take care of the valve deposits. Also speaking from experience not a good idea if you live in a cold climate, due to freezing.

Spider1 you may want to look at the other f150 ecoboost forums. it is full of pics of sludge in the IC. Now that is with the Gen 1 Ecos. Now the Raptors do have a set of secondary of port-fuel injection that should help clean the back of the valves. But the oil will still coat the rest of the intake system. I have not heard if this is a issue on the 16 and up yet.

Even in a non DI engine a catch can can be beneficial. No matter what the blow by gasses will make their way to the intake manifold. Why rely on the little fuel from the port injection to clean the gunk when you can avoid the gunk to begin with. Seems like a cheap preventative item that will prevent headaches down the line.

yeah, now that i'm old and don't have time to mod my vehicles, i avoid mods, except the oil catch cans. Once you pull an engine apart at 200,000 miles, and see what can go through it (esp a turbo car) you will want one. FYI the Ford performance Racing school puts them on their cars because they get driven to redline all day everyday.
