I have decided to wrap mine and dad's trucks but I am going back and forth between X-Pel and the 3M wrap. I like the self healing of the X-Pel but several dealers claim the the 3M has better UV resistance. I'm in south FL and was told 3M holds up the best. However I can find others that say the same thing about X-Pel for other reasons.
Has anyone had the whole truck done yet? I know BGM is having his done soon, but has anyone already done it and have longer term results to share. I will be using my truck offroad and want scratch resistance. We are taking injured or otherwise deserving combat vets on trips around the country to various 4wheeling/hunting locations during the year so durability is important. We have used our jeeps in the past but there is just not enough room to get some of the guys in. With my jeep it was no big deal to put trail pinstripes on it. I prefer to try and protect the Raptor. While I'm willing to take a little trail damage if necessary I would still rather keep it to a minimum.
Sorry to get off topic, taking care of our vets is a big deal to us as a family.
Anyway any information on the wraps is appreciated.
Regards,
Tom
