So I did a quick wash on my truck and the wife's car. I tried some Adam's Guard and Gloss and some Tire and Rubber cleaner and VRT on the tires.
So heres my take:
The positive
The packaging on Adam's stuff is 2nd to none.
The bottles are excellent quality.
Everything smells great.
The Edgeless Gray Towel is every bit as good as my Eagle Blue Edgeless.
The Guard and Gloss left a nice slick finish.
The VRT had a good semi gloss finish.
The not so positive
The VRT is tough to apply evenly on the edge of the tire wher the lugs are. This is probably because it is thick. The Meguiar's Hyper dressing I usually use is thinner and speads easier.
The Rubber and Tire cleaner took 3 applications with lots of scrubbing to remove the old Meguiar's Hyper dressing. I'm not sure this is any fault of the cleaner. I usually have to scrub quite a bit with APC as well. I think this is just because the Hyper dressing is pretty durable stuff despite being water based.
The Guard and Gloss seemed to streak a bit on my truck. It wasn't an issue on the wife's car. The temperature had dropped to 50° by the time I dud the truck, so that may have attributed to the streaking.
The verdict
I am impressed overall. I'm not sure I'll replace my Meguiar's Hyper Dressing with VRT. The Guard and Gloss is a nice product, but will probably only get used when the weather is warmer. I will definitely be trying some other Adam's product.

To make it easier to apply the
VRT to the sidewall lugs, you can make a sprayable mixture by diluting the product with about 30% distilled water. This sprayable mixture also works great for dressing Line-X or similar bedliner material.
When applying the
H2O Guard & Gloss to your truck, were you using the same application towel as you used on the car, or was it a fresh towel? The reason I ask, is that you can get streaking when too much product gets built-up in the application towel. I have also seen this happen on trucks, since there is more surface to apply to, so the product gets loaded up in the towel. Next time, try rinsing out the towel really well about halfway through the application, to remove any excess product. Another good tip is to reduce the amount of product that you spray on the surface as you make your way through the application, since you will need less product on the surface once the towel has product in it. After applying to the first couple of panels, try reducing the amount sprayed by about half.
Also, since the
HGG is a water-activated sealant, it is a good idea to hand wash the towels right after the application, even if you are going to machine wash them later. Allowing the product to cure in the towel can lead to build-up in the fibers over time, make them less absorbent. To hand wash and also for machine washing them, use a dedicated microfiber cleaner, like
Adam's Microfiber Revitalizer & Brightener, since regular laundry detergent is not strong enough to break down the sealant.
