Front grill removal for plasti dip???

In looking at posts regarding plasti dipping the front grill it appears that most left the front grill on to do this?

Has anyone removed their front grill to do this? How difficult is it to remove? Seems it would be an easier job to spray with it removed or not?

It's just a few screws that go through the bracket into the hood. There are also a couple that go through the grill. Then just disconnect the wiring harness for the lights

Just out of curiousity, why would you pasti-dip the grill....its already black?

It's not truly black like the Plasti dip black. Several people have Plasti dipped their's and have photo's shown in other threads. Looks a LOT better.

I took mine off to install window screen behind it to catch bugs and shit.
