What is the best Handheld Scanner y'all use to communicate during the run? What frequencies do we use?

I remember seeing Trey doing something where if you purchased the radios from him he would send them already programmed. I know I am a lazy ass!

We need a thread where we can cobble together a list of where we can list items we will need for the run...I know the information is out there just would be nice where we could go to look for everything from Racks to Ropes...

If one exists my search ability has failed to turn it up...

I know the information exists, but I can't seem to find it either. I believe we need to ssearch for Snoball500 information as I am almost positive that the information was listed like that in a thread somewhere here in prep for that event. Matter of fact, I know for a fact I saw information with links about the radios themselves that Treypal posted. I will see if I can find it.

Thanks Chris...so you want one installed not just a handheld?

I remember seeing the something where Trey was getting them for folks and even programming the radios...and now I can't find it...I am going to PM Trey now...

Shit these radios go from $60 to $400...

I have used Icon marine products with my boats and they are great but expensive...I don't really want anything marine grade or water proof...

Yeah, I have several regular CB radios. I usually just velcro them to the dash, but the Raptor deserves better and my regular CB's won't work. So I am looking for an all encompassing unit that I can install permanently and use for whatever I need. I absolutely LOVE using them on the interstate to keep up with where the cops are and where traffic has issues. I will keep looking and let you know what I find...
