avg mpg 15.3, not bad

Yeah I noticed that too. Over 700+ miles so I would think there are some highway miles on that...

I just finished a 2950 mile trip from CA to CO and back and averaged 15.3 over as well and that was with mixed driving and mountain driving and I even saw 18.2 on the trip (OK it was heading in to Utah from CO!)

I do like the interior of the Gen2 and I like how the Ford rep talked about the power steering issues. Maybe Ford did improve on the PS this time?

What also scares me is that he dodged the question of dealer markup! Did you notice that? So us eager beaver buyers are in for a fight with dealerships! Gonna have to do major research and find nice dealerships to work Ruth maybe get a list here or a new tread started for people to be able yo ho yo thrm

The tail lights are different. The video of the "production blue" truck show an LED perimeter red ring with an orange center. Those did not have the orange center.

Dealers are independently owned. Ford cannot legally tell them what to sell vehicles. What they can do is publish the MSRP which is one way of keeping the dealers honest. At the end of the day the dealer can charge what ever they want. Ford has no control on ADM.

I enjoyed the video as well. It was nice to actually see more of it then just pics or "prototype hunting videos". I am glad that he mentioned price(as much as he could) and am glad that it will stick to old gen 1 pricing. 14 Screw base invoice I believe was around 43/44? So even with all the mods and I'm sure a 1-3k markup from 2014 base it'll be right around the 60k mark, before MSRP or mark up. But we can easily find a dealer who will do invoice which I hope is around 56-58 for a fully loaded (56 no graphics, 58 graphics/tailgate, etc)

Guess we will find out in 8 days

It looks like the "production blue" truck is a base model without the sensors in the tail lights.

Ford has no pull in pricing but they do have pull in giving allocations and receiving orders. When the Hellcats came out dealers were charging crazy amounts like $50k over msrp and Dodge got pissed and told the dealers if they keep that shit up they wont be getting anymore specialty vehicles in the future.

Great video. I wish he'd thought to ask if the front bumper end plates are removable, and also if Ford plans to offer a winch solution - not a winch itself, but a way to attach one without having to move the intercooler.

It looks like the interior can be optioned up to swank status. The only two things I don't see are a heated steering wheel and massaging seats, which of course may be there but just couldn't see them.

I'm a bit disappointed in the sync 3 performance. They talk up the speed, but it seems pretty sluggish to me. I do like the night mode.

Also dissappointed that they aren't bringing the trailer blind spot detection to the 150 this year. It was a long shot, but I was hopeful. He did say to stay tuned, so maybe for the 18’s?

Of all the different dealers I have dealt with, Ford dealers are hands down the worst to deal with regarding mark ups. Worst experience ever was trying to buy my Raptor.
