I have this rattle coming from the driver side window switch panel. Anyone know of a fix? I popped it off but didn't see anything loose in there.

Right?? That’s the primary reason I’ve always owned ford over chevy. My Vette rattles like crazy. At the moment the only rattle on my raptor is the sunroof but I’ve had the roof on all 4 of my raptors and never had any of them rattle but this one. My ‘08 Shelby doesn’t have a single rattle or squeak.

Try loosening the sunroof fixed rear panel just like the OP. I had to do this to mine too, also got the Kryton GPL 205 grease and between the two it's relatively silent now. For mine the rear of the fixed panel is as low as it can go, and the front is about midway. Even side-to-side. You'll want a T25 Torx + ratchet + short extension and about 10 minutes.

Well done researching. It’s a known problem. I can confirm... lube the seals of the roof window and problem is gone.

Krytox GPL205 Performance Lubricant Grease

Amazon can supply...

This thread was perfect! That sounds was driving me nuts. I've order the Krytox but while I was waiting I squirted a little silicone spray around the rubber weather stripping....no more rattle/squeak.

While I was doing that I noticed that there's a decent amount of play when I push on the panel from above. For those of you that removed and reset the (6) screws that hold it in place, is the play gone completely? I haven't done so yet, but I'm just trying to figure out if that's work fussing with.

I actually think vettes rattle cuz the structure is so damn rigid by every measure & the body/interior is not nearly @ the same level of engineering/rigidity obviously. BTW - do you have stock tunnel plate? Swapping out for thicker one w/ heat shield made mine stiffer, corner flatter, quieter & cooler just FYI

The pano roof on my Raptor gets cleaned every 4-6 months vac up any debris in the rails, wipe down all the seals w/ moist rag, then use graphite or lithium grease on the rails & krytox on everything else

Bout ready to do it now actually since pollen seems to have finally stopped up here in MA

I'm going to try this...I have a slight rattle that I thought was behind the rear seat but now I think it's this. This forum is awesome for these types of things.

Fixed it by loosening four of the six screws that hold it in place. Just a little. Then slighty repositioning the panel up and down a tiny bit but making sure it was put back exactly where it was. Also, I lubbed the rubber seal with some of that special lube.

OK, so I'll admit I haven't even gone out to eyeball my rear glass, but are the screws on the inside or outside? Someone else mentioned a t-25 bit, is that correct?

Thanks, I sometimes get a 'knock' at slower speeds (<40 mph or so) coming from the rear drivers side, this could be the source. ALmost sounds like the seat belt buckle is lightly knocking into the plastic on the door but I know that's not it.
