Well finally got to see one up close and personal. Actually had to take a double take to make sure (never had to do that with the gen1) that it really was a Raptor.
I remember when they debuted and my first thoughts were meh and they still are. It looks ok but something is lacking to give it the wow factor. Too plain. More like a F150 with extra width and bigger tires but not different enough or unique enough. Kind of sad but not sure I'd want one even with a V8.
On top of that even my dealer where I bought mine at invoice is throwing on $8000 worth of markup.
I'll pass. Thankfully they'll always be a nice gen1 around for those of us who might want a second one.
