FORSCAN to turn Rear Park Aid off permamently??

Does anyone know the FORSCAN codes to trun of that obnoxious rear park aid for good? it always resets itself back to on ..What a Pain in the arse!

or a link to a previous fix for this?

Don't know about forscan, but a $6 trailer light checker from Northern Tool or elsewhere will fool the truck into thinking a trailer is back there and disable auto start-stop and the rear park aid/cross traffic alert. I did this before the in-cab wire trick for disabling auto start-stop became known.

I’ve also been searching for this answer but have not found anything yet. This feature drives me nuts. Since we can’t permanently save it when we select “off”, they should at least allow us to adjust the volume of the alerts.

Not that I am knocking people for disabling this but, why?

Well I should preface by saying I keep my trailer ball in alot..I tow fequently..so that sets the rear aid off instantly...

Backup alarms are to be outside the truck to warn people who arent paying attention...

Not blasting thru the stereo speakers at a volume you cant adjust..just a real STUPID idea by some Ford Intern!?

I know when I'm in reverse and everyone in my truck doesnt need a loud obnoxious signal to tell them they are moving backwards either.

One of the most annoying features of this truck.
