Removed the 6 programmed pats keys the truck was “programmed” with (i only got one when i bought it) and programmed 2 new keys.

Turned off hyperflash for the front turn signals.
How’d you program new keys? I heard you need two keys to be able to add another. If you have 1 you need to go to the dealer $$$

For GEN 1

SCCM
724-01-01 xxxx xYxx xx:

View here: https://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4393

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...J8uUqpLwP_xyqbfQHB0rAnXNs/edit#gid=1741285730

0 = 1 flash & OUC False
1 = 1 flash & OUC True
2 = 1 flash & OUC False
3 = 1 flash & OUC True
4 = 2 flash & OUC False
5 = 2 flash & OUC True
6 = 3 flash & OUC False
7 = 3 flash & OUC True
8 = 4 flash & OUC False
9 = 4 flash & OUC True
A = 5 flash & OUC False
B = 5 flash & OUC True
C = 6 flash & OUC False
D = 6 flash & OUC True
E = 7 flash & OUC False
F = 7 flash & OUC True

So set 6th digit to b gives you 5 flashes in the same configuration as stock. Will give you 7 with a trailer.

That spreadsheet has the info on tire size and NAV in it as well.

For Gen 2

SCCM
724-01-01 xxxx xYxx xx:

0 = Triple flash disabled
4 = Two flashes
6 = Default Triple flash operation
7 = Turn signal stays on until canceled
8 = Four flashes
A = Five flashes
C = Six flashes
E = Seven flashes

What's the difference between OUC True and false?

So someone on the Facebook group said you can turn off the turn signal as a DRL, is that true?

I have RaptorRetroFit headlights and want to keep the grill lights and LED strip in my headlight as DRLs, but turn off the turn signal.

I found a setting for DRL but it turned everything off.

Half success! Looks like I fixed Morimoto XB headlights issue by disable both DRL and DRL with turn lamp (something like this, forgot exact words).

But I can NOT make change in this format : 724-01-01 xxxx xYxx xx in SCCM. I can delete a digit but it doesn't let me input anything.
Did this eliminate the turn signal as a DRL?

Played around with forscan today and fried the few brain cells I had left. I did not make any changes mostly just looked around to familurize myself with the program as it has been awhile since I have messed with it. Cleared a few DTCs that were stored but had one that would not clear for the HVAC:U2100 00-0A so I tested the module and it passed but the DTC came back. I looked at the configuration for the HVAC module and low and behold I found the mismatched vin number that I was looking for but did not see a way to change it and I'm not sure it will solve my problem. The HVAC module is out of a F150 that had ambient lighting and works fine for everything except for the AL. It may be as simple as loading my as built file to get rid of the vin mismatch but I was scared to try it without more information. I got frustrated and gave up on this quest a year or two ago but decided to give it one last try. Factory ambient lighting is the goal, I have the screen enabled to change colors, brightness and turn it on/off but no workey.

Had a WTF moment using forscan this morning when all of a sudden the program shut down and all kinds of faults were showing in the dash then the dash shut completely down. I was in the middle of restarting modules like HVAC, PCM, BdyCM and I thought Oh Shit what just happened. Disconnected the computer from the truck and went inside to gather my wits as I was in panic mode thinking I had just bricked my Raptor. After about 30-45 minutes I went back out to the truck to see if anything had changed now that I could think more rationally and sure enough when I opened the door the dash lit up(good sign), put the key in and turned it to the on position and still had dash lit up so I tried to start but no luck. It acted like it had a low battery, then I remembered that when I was in panic mode I had turned the headlight switch to off, I should have done this before I started forscan. I was able to jump start the truck and everything seems to be fine after driving around for an hour.

@CleverGirl_ I did see a few settings for the TPMS so I'm pretty sure it can be disabled but the why bothers me. LOL

There's an option to use fog lights as DRL. That will turn off turn signal lights as DRL.
DRL enabled
DRL includes parklamps
DRL type front fog lamps
