You're saying that based on the date your Raptor was manufactured?


From the article:

Vehicles included in the recall were manufactured from Jan. 18, 2008, through Nov. 30, 2009.

Owners will be notified Feb. 14. The recall will be issued in two phases. First, owners will be instructed to take their F-150s to a dealer for an inspection. If the vehicle fails the inspection, the owner will be asked to return once parts are available to have the defect addressed. There are two possible fixes, one that includes an additional spring embossment and another that replaces the interior door handle module.

It based on plant of manufacture. All Raptor are built at the truck plant in MI. They didn't say anything about build date.

Received my recall notice in the mail today notifying me my Raptor is being recalled due to faulty door handle mechanism.

Got my letter in the mail a couple of days ago.

Mine is on the list too. When I heard something about the recall of door handles, I was praying it was the outside handle for a minute there.. someone tried to break into my driver side and took a screwdriver or some metal object and f#cked up my lock cylinder and plastic trim. ~$200 in parts is much less than the deductible on the insureance so go figure; I'm screwed! FFS
