No additional options for the Gen 1 available other than what’s been discussed already. New or reman rack is your best bet unless you want to go swingset and drop $10k+.

@TheTallRoadrunner You realize that’s a hydraulic ram setup for swingset or similar steering. If you’re an experienced custom fabricator, by all means custom is the way to go and you have infinite options. Otherwise designing CNC parts with the correct geometry and custom fab is what gets you to that $10k+ swingset setup at least that’s my thought. I could be completely wrong, but the reasons the race-based setups are expensive is because you’re paying for the R&D that went into a niche market product.

Worth checking with them, but I think you’re going in the wrong direction price wise if you’re shying away from a hydraulic swingset setup made for the application and now looking at adapting a billet electronic steering rack. You’re better off sticking with hydraulic. Less considerations for PCM integration and probably more robust. The electronic rack option would be more applicable for a Gen 2 or up since they already use EPS racks.

Going to go with a reman steering rack since I can't find new. But I am a little confused with pricing.

Detroit Axles has them around $350:
1. https://www.detroitaxle.com/part/20...-and-pinion/22-2121/?submodel_name=SVT+Raptor
2. https://www.detroitaxle.com/part/20...ack-and-pinion/5358/?submodel_name=SVT+Raptor

While Advantage Steering has it for $1350:
1. https://advantagesteering.com/ford-...012-2014-oe-steering-rack-usa-remanufactured/

Anyone know the difference or recommend one over the other?

The more expensive one says "USA remanufactured". Most parts go to Mexico to be rebuilt these days, so I'm guessing that's why one is expensive and one is cheap.

Here's from Rock Auto, but not sure if the "Special Vehicle Package" is same as "SVT Package"
