Do any of you know offhand whether the Ford Racing Sport exhaust covered by the same "Million Mile Warranty" as its Borla-branded counterpart is? I have searched online and couldn't find an answer.

I believe it's only 3/36 from what I remember. I'll try and look it up for you. I have this setup by the way.

Here is the warrenty. It's considered a racing pack component. This quote is from ford racing parts.com

Performance Packs and Components are warranted for factory-supplied material or workmanship when installed on a late model Ford vehicle by an authorized Ford or Lincoln Dealer, Shelby American, Inc., or mountune LLC. The Performance Packs and Components Limited Warranty begins upon dealer installation and registration of the part(s) with Ford Racing and remains in effect for the balance of 36 months or 36,000 miles / 60,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first, calculated from the start date of the manufacturer's New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Thanks man! Hmmm... decisions decisions. My Magnaflow is seriously falling apart and because I can't place my hands on the "warranty registration certificate" they won't replace it. I've moved since I bought the thing back in 2011 so hell if I know where it went.

I'm running a Borla setup on my SRT8 and the quality is far superior to the Magnaflow. But I really dig the fact that the FRPP version of the Borla has the squared off tips and the resonator delete, but it sucks they don't carry the Borla warranty along with it.

I agree, but it's made with the same materials by Borla . So I bet it's going to last a LONG time!

Just had some warranty work done on my truck, I have the Ford Racing Sport cat back
on my truck, and the mechanic that did some non exhaust related warrenty work noted on the service write up that I had an aftermarket cat back exhaust installed. Funny, I'm going to go back and ask him to write up that it is a FORD WARRENTY BACKED PRODUCT. Not just any aftermarket exhaust.

So just realize that they do that and pay attention to the wording.

Actually I asked my dealer about my Ford Racing Touring Exhaust and they told me even Ford Racing is considered an after-market part and is treated as such. Think it really boils down to the dealer and mine sucks when it comes to this stuff BTW.

From Ford Racing website:

Ford Racing Limited Warranty Program
All Ford Racing Parts are aftermarket parts. Ford Racing Parts are not Genuine Ford Parts or Accessories. Therefore, they may not be used in any application that requires the use of Genuine Ford Parts or Accessories.

Ford Racing Performance Parts are sold "as is" with no warranty. A Limited Warranty is available for some select parts and will be denoted by the following logo

And I did the research on the cat back, both the touring and the sport FRP
( made by Borla everyone knows) has the 3/36 warranty. NOTE; There is a disclaimer about being dealer installed if I remember correctly for the coverage.

Here I found the quote on the FRP website, the exhaust cat backs are listed under performance packs and here is their disclaimer on warranty:

Ford Racing and mountune® Power Packs, Handling Packs and select components for Mustangs, Fiesta, Focus, and F-150

Ford Racing and mountune Performance Packs and Components are warranted for factory-supplied material or workmanship when installed on a late model Ford vehicle by an authorized Ford or Lincoln Dealer or Shelby American, Inc.
