ford Pro Trailer Backup Assist

diy can I add a ford Pro Trailer Backup Assist? i have the brake controller and will now will be getting a trailer.

I have a 801 package, so no assist. This may be the only way to get the Wife to drive, with a trailer attached.

Makes sense. You might want to do a thorough search of f150.com to see if anyone has done it before.

Thanks, I did look, at one was done on a 2015, looks like a major project to add. Also his final write up is no longer a valid download, so bummer there.
