Ford Performance vs. SVT

New Raptor owner here. Probably a noobie question, but what is the difference between "SVT" and "Ford Performance"? I know SVT is Special Vehicle Team and is the follow-on to SVO. (I had an 85 SVO Mustang for a while.) Also know that Ford Performance is part of Ford Racing. Did Ford Performance take over SVT? Is SVT still around? Just curious why Gen 1's are SVT and Gen 2's are Ford Performance?

I noticed that the Gen 1 forum area is titled "SVT Raptor" and the Gen 2 forums are titled "F-150 Raptor". Shouldn't the Gen 2 forums be titled "Ford Performance Raptor"? Not trying to ruffle any feathers here! LOL

In 2014, Ford Performance was created to unify SVT, Team RS, and Ford Racing. After the merger, Ford Performance absorbed all three subsidiaries and now all performance products are branded under the "Ford Performance" badge.

Pocket protector is to keep pens from leaking ink into a nerds shirt pocket. Protractor is used to measure the angle of your dangle.
