I wouldn’t let a dealer touch my truck for this procedure. You set up a ford performance account, download the app, and then plug the tuner into your laptop. It will update. You then plug tuner into your truck and follow prompts to save your stock tune. Once complete you go back to your laptop and upload stock tune and download performance tune. Take tuner back to truck and upload performance tune. All done. It comes with simple instructions and the pass key to verify your purchase so you can access the performance tune.

So I guess I should have done my research. Just bought a 23 today after trading my 19 goosetuned on an Escalade 1.5yrs ago (mistake). I assumed Cobb and Winfield would have a tune. I guess the question is whether I wait. Winfields tune on my 19 was insane especially on E50. Hmmm. I guess I will stay stock for a while and see what happens.

I was going to wait, but Winfield can’t give a definitive timeframe. So I ordered the FP tune, and will run that in the meantime
