I think that's the torque converter lockup. Wish it wasn't so noticeable. Wonder if the tune has any effect.Wondering if it fixes that dead spot at the bottom of 4th gear. Or is that just me?

Are we talking about the same thing? It’s when you ease into the throttle and happen to be at the bottom of 4th gear and there is a slight delay in response. Doesn’t seem like it has anything to do with torque converter lock up. Seems like a tuning issue. Correct me if I’m wrong.I think that's the torque converter lockup. Wish it wasn't so noticeable. Yup, much smoother.Does it help with downshifts in gears 1-3? Mine is so clunky at low speeds Im about ready to trade it in.
Compared to a CAI I guess but that’s a pretty low bar. I was simply saying that I didn’t notice much of a difference in a 5,800 pound truck. My opinion, nothing more.50 lbs is a lot. Guys are paying 500 bucks on a cai hoping to get 10
Agreed. Def worth $615 from Lethal and retaining over the air updates, for me anyway. My powertrain felt sloppy and clunky and delay in throttle response. After installing mine today and from a very small sample size the transmission doesn't seem to be confused of what gear to be in anymore. The throttle response delay is gone now and with only light throttle the power comes on quicker. The truck feels in sync and smooth now. If everything stays like this i will be ever happy with this purchase!
