Ok Gents I’ve narrowed it down to Ford Performance Cat back exhaust by Borla. They make a sport and touring models every review I have read says the sport is just a bit louder than the touring which makes sense. Any of you guys have either one on your trucks. Mines a 2018 and I currently have the Roush cat-back and it’s too loud in the cab and has a drone. So it’s going (wife can’t stand being in the truck now) maybe I’m just getting old! Any help would be appreciated. Also anyone want to buy a Roush exhaust! Thanks guys.

I ran the touring one for a long time. I’m chucking it in this current build.

you might be happier with a set of green catted downpipes and stock exhaust.

otherwise if you must pick one... do the touring.... it’s the loudest you’d want for a neighborhood.

I had one, and sold it as close to a give a way price lol.
It’d be loud and annoying too. However it’s probably the least loud exhaust company to anything out there.

I get rid of the exhaust in 24 hrs ... I think the stock one is enough (maybe I’m getting old, and I take my wife and little kids with me so I want them ride comfortable)

I don't have this one but I do have the S-type Borla cutback with carbon tips and Cobb CAI. love it, no drone. during idle and cruise it's minimal but wakes up when you get on it.

IMO the FP Sport is the best exhaust for the truck. It’s what the truck should have come with. No drone at all but deeper and more growl but never obnoxious. You will not be disappointed.

I have a 2018 with the Ford performance sport exhaust. I really like it. I have had it for about 1.5 years. All good.

I have the Ford/Borla sport with the carbon tips with the Cobb stage 2 kid on my. It does get a little loud when you get on it on the freeway but normal driving it's not bad. I had my on the truck two mount after I got the truck ( 2017). My wife had asked me one time of why is so loud inside my truck, I told her she could fix it by not talking! That was the end of the conversation. Problem FIXED.

Which one do you have, Touring or Sport?

They (Ford) offer both options with several exhaust tip options but same description.

How much louder than OEM?
:)

I have the sport version. I don't have a decibel meter to measure how much loader but I could tell you is 3-4 time louder then stock when you get on it and when you just driving around I would say twice as loud as stock. I didn't mind it when I am just cruising around town or on the freeway, I find myself turning up the radio more on the freeway to not hear my wife then to the exhaust noise. I do enjoy the tone of the exhaust more then my wife talk ( I know that's not saying much but you never met my wife! ).

If the Borla is too loud after you've install it, you could alway install their resonator to tone it down. That's what my plan is when I get sick of the exhaust noise.
