Is it possible to connect the truck to Ford pass while in transit. I’ve seen some mention they were able to track their vehicle. When I attempted to add the vehicle on the app it says you must connect via the truck.

Kind of. Someone can accept it when leaving the factory but they put it in a shipping mode when leaving the rail yard which deactivates usually if not always

I have been getting an error “to try again after I have taken delivery of the vehicle.” So looks like ford either closed that loop hole and it requires the vehicle to initiate the process or folks dealers were marking it sold on whatever system manages FordPass

I attempted to activate mine, but it was denied twice in the beginning. Then third try it was activated. Been watching it go around the factory for a month, now sitting in a rail yard for a couple weeks. Map shows it's still there, but also wondering if the app could be stuck. I know they put the trucks in shipping mode when in transit, so I am hoping it's on a train somewhere.

Just a tad salty that I've been waiting a year now, getting a '22 truck in 2023, meanwhile R's are in production, built and delivered in what seems like a month. Blows my mind.
