So I noticed I could no longer start my 23 Raptor from the Ford Pass App. Tried to trouble shoot on my own and then used Ford Pass App Chat for a fix. Had me reset the connectivety in the truck, delete the truck from my app and add it back in and re-activate it. Turns out there is some modem issue SSM 50873 Missing Autorization, Command and Control issue and now the only fix is to take an $85K truck to my "preferred dealership" and have a diagnostic run to fix the error. Anyone else have this issue or am I the lucky golden ticket? Bummer.

I hear it's been common on the 23s. Unplugging your TCU for an hour or so and plugging it back in has been the main fix.

Can you get to the TCU with minimal effort? Is it behind the rear passenger seat back? I don't think they fold forward unless I am missing something. At least I can still remote start with key fab.

I don’t know where the TCU is, but, to get behind the rear seats
passenger, you just pull down the strap. Driver’s side is a bit frustrating.

Right around the position of the headrest, down about 6 inches from there is the latch mechanism. on the inboard side of the latch mechanism is a button that you pop upwards to release the latch. To get to it, you need to raise the seat bottom, but not latch it in place. reach behind the seat back and pull up on the latch button. Youtube has videos on how to do it.

it’s very frustrating the first half a dozen times.

My Ford Pass recently stopped working after 31 days of ownership of my ‘23. I called the 800 number and they told me to take it to the dealer and tell them code 51389. I have an appointment to take it in on Friday.
Not sure if it’s related but I’m also getting a message on the head unit: No network connection. Navigation and traffic might be affected.
Also noticed that Alexa isn’t an option / doesn’t respond any longer.

I was having issues with it the past 2 weeks. Seems to be working fine now. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few times. Service may have went down for some reason.

Many posts on this known issue for 23's. Easiest fix, if you have Forscan, just reset TCU and Wifi Module. You must reset both. you'll be back in business then. The plus about this, Ford is supposedly coming out with an OTA update, BUT you must have the connectivity to get it to work. The irony! This path will save you a trip to the dealer

Neat!
How are you resetting with Forscan though, is it setting a code or another operation?

In the service menu section, you will see all the module service and reset options. Just quickly run the reset function for each module and you're done. Not looking at Forscan right now but same icon/section that you would go to reset suspension calibration that has been mentioned in many threads. Hope that helps
