1) They are kinda cheating- you need a load distributing hitch (GM can tow 9000ish more pounds with a conventional hitch)
2) It is still pretty cool, more power is better, hopefully it heats up and spreads out... eco-boost raptor good, diesel raptor better...

I really think the Eco-boost killed any chance of the LR based 4.something L diesel becoming a reality.

That motor has been off and on more then the 6.2L. I would love to see it happen also. There has been more talk about Dodge and GM putting diesels in there 1/2 ton trucks. Ford may still do it.
