The thing that most are forgetting is that this is a V-6 outperforming V-8s.

Having driven the Eco-boost with a load behind I can you that it is everything and more then what Ford says it is. Now yes a VortechMax 6.2 you will put a hurting on the Eco-boost but most people don't buy the VortechMax because it gets horrible MPGs. My brother just picked up a GMC 1500 Z71 and with a sticker of 51K it had the 5.3L V-8.
