Which fog light do you prefer Gen 2 or Gen 3?

I just added fog lights to my 2017, and I hate that they didn't come factory, but the 3 light combo looks much better than the two lights on the gen 3. I prefer the non bezel look as well.

I like the versatility of 3 lights. 1 spot, 1 flood, 1 fog.

I actually like the look of the 2 lights on the Gen3, but like the functionality of 3 as I currently run 3 on my Gen2. Undecided what I'll do when my Gen3 gets here.

I assumed this was the general sentiment. Hopefully Ford realizes this and goes back to the old design for next year. I’m not too excited about buying all new brackets to mounts squadron pros.

Regardless the Gen3 fog lights are dot SAE fogs and they are basically useless if your wanting off-road lights.

But it really comes down to intended use. The Gen 2 3 pack lights throw out way more light than the Gen 3 DOT lights.

For normal street use, I'd prefer the Gen 3 DOTs. Off road or no street light roadways, Gen 2 3 pack.

Love the Baja Designs setup on my Gen 2. I’ll probably upgrade the lights on the Gen 3, but try to keep it looking close to factory for aesthetics with better light output.

I ment the mounting hardware I could care less about the worthless fogs it comes with. I think most people have specific needs ie ambers vs clears driving vs spots etc.

What mounting hardware did the Gen2 come with?
