I want a deeper sound on my 2012. I'm on the fence on which flowmaster to get. I had a 40 series on a old truck with a small v8 and it sounded great. But I dont know if I want to deal with the interior noise again. I think I'm getting old. Since the 2012 has the terminator on it do u think that would help delete the interior noise? Or should I cut the resistor out and get the 50 hd muffler?

I have a 2010 so no resonator. And I have the 40 series with a side exit before the rear tire. It sounds really good. Very deep. I was surprised, its not that loud inside really. Its the perfect blend, its perfect for long freeway trips or around town but you jump on it can unleash a beast. Keep the exhaust by or behind the axle and you will be surprised how quiet it is. I also increased my pipe size and mandrel bends are a MUST. None of that crush crap that ruins the sound.

Just went for a drive in a Raptor with a flow master single chamber 10 muffler, Resonator delete and factory pipes. It sounded amassing and surprisingly no annoying drone from what I heard. Very loud out side the truck but very livable inside.

you should try a muffler delete and if that don't work do a muffler if not loud enough do the resonator delete I would like to hear one with a muffler delete only and hear what it sounds like you could clamp it and see then you have the pipe for resonator if you decide to delete it.
