Yes, get as long (mileage and years) as you can. Long/short blocks are expensive!!
That’s a good point I was thinking of only getting the 6 year 60,000 miles because I doubt I will keep the truck longer than that… However, if I trade it in I can get a refund on the warranty that is left. Or pass on To the next owner.

Prices went up twice while I was awaiting delivery, If you intend to buy it, I'd recommend now before another increase...

Do the max yrs and whatever miles you'll most likely drive it with a little extra cushion just in case. I got the 7 yrs / 100,000 miles on my 18'. I traded it in for the 21' last year after only 3 yrs. I think I got back from Ford the prorated amount around $1,700 (paid to much at the dealer). This time I got the 8yr (the max) from floodford. I put on less than 15 k miles per year so the 125,000 was good. and yes you get a refund and or you can transfer it to the next buyer for a fee and a little bit of a higher selling price.

I usually get something new every 3-4 yrs. so I am in the same situation. around 40-50k miles is about it. great selling feature knowing its got a warranty that can go with it.

6/60 is pretty low unless you are hardly driving the truck. 8/60 is only $300 more. Do Zeigler or Flood over the dealer. 7-8/100 is the sweet spot for daily drivers imo.

I am coming up on three years with 21000 miles. I have two other vehicles. So I don’t run a lot of miles

I think your miles are probably spot on but it could bring more money if you still have a good warranty to go with it. not just the existing factory warranty whatever is left of it at that time. and incase you keep it longer youre covered.
