I want to pull off my hood decals more then i want to get rid of the bed decals.

I'm the exact opposite. Of course, with a black truck, the hood decals don't stand out much. If I take them off, it will probably be something a little more bolder. I do want more color on the truck and might switch that out at some point.

The bed decals will come off when I'm sure I'm not going to grow to like it and/or I don't feel like I'm throwing money away.

Awesome! 802a without almost 3k in features I didn’t want. I only got the bedside graphics, but the market is a lot less stupid now. When I bought, you were lucky to find MSRP, and a woeful number of members here paid significantly over msrp. I didn’t but MSRP was the best I could do, period, or wait. I’d never seen a market like that and it held for a few more months before the unicorn “under MSRP” deals started showing up in more than one off reports.

I did find one without the moon roof and the MSRP was much more attractive, obviously, but... the stealership was bitterly clinging to their ADM so I moved on. closest I got on that truck was 2500 over and it would have cost just a tick over what I paid for Lucille, but resale would’ve been lower.

I even tried going through my bank, they have a buying service and the dealer was happy to order for me through the buying service.... for $10,000 over MSRP.

Alas, I am happy with my purchase, graphics and moonroof and all. I just wouldn’t have preferred to pay for those.

Also, FWIW, Lucille’s a Mid November, ’16 build and the graphics are just starting to show signs of corner peeling. just a touch.

Agreed. I bought my Raptor off the lot...I walked in planning to do a special order then found the dealer had just offloaded a Raptor from the delivery truck and it had the exact color/options that I would have special ordered, except for the hood and bed graphics package.

I kept the hood stripes, I think they look good, but removed the bed graphics as soon as I got the truck home from the dealer.

Is there a good way to tell if you're paint has faded before taking off the bed decals?

I've got a 2017, but it's new to me. I suspect it was mostly garaged in it's past life, but can't say for sure.
