So I’m not really a fan on them, have any of you removed them?

Definitely should be removed... and discontinued as an option to inflate prices.

There are a couple threads on the subject.

I used hair dryer on one side then realized that I didn’t need it for the other.

Used Griots Synthetic Clay Bar to remove the “profile” left behind.

Definitely easy money makers for Ford and dealers because I think they cram these on every Dealer stock 802a truck. an 802A without the stickers on a dealer lot is exceedingly rare. in fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen one sitting on a lot without graphics.

I couldn’t find one in late ’16 when the market was stupider.

I’m sure at some point I’ll probably be thinking of doing the same thing. good to know this is a user serviceable mod.

It would be interesting to see what the breakdown of Raptor purchases are like. Ordered vs off the dealer lot. For those that are ordered, what percentage go for the decals?

I removed mine, mostly by hand---picked up the edges either with a plastic scraper, then pulled. Then I removed the remaining adhesive with 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover. I tried GooGone first, it would not touch the adhesive. Overall a pretty easy job.

I removed mine the day after I brought it home from the dealer, so there was no "burn in" from the decals at all into the paint.

Mines an ‘18 but been garage kept. Bought it with 5k miles on it.

Do you think the paint behind the decals will show different than the rest of truck since it’s been a year?

The fact the first "R" goes under the flare is kinda pathetic. The text should have been shifted forward so the tail of that R is 100% visible, but not so far that it touches the gas door opening. Nice job Ford.
