bought my raptor new here in Chile from the ford dealer in Jan.....I have only put 11000 km on it.....all highway. So far ford has replaced the oil cooler (that took 1 month in their shop). Its a week later now had its again back in the shop
again.....this time they say they have to replace the entirer radio consul and touchscreen (all audio locked-up and cut in and out from the day I bought it) Who knows how looooong that part(s) will take to arrive in chile....could be months given Ford Chiles interest in their clients down here. Then off course with so many problems in the 1st 10 k. one really wonder what will fail next....
So far this Raptor it is the worst truck I have ever bought.....don't trust it to get too far from a dealer and would never take it out into the desert.....maybe not so much the trucks fault but if anything goes wrong down here you know you can not could on ford for reliable or expediate service.
just one question for you guys.....how was the taping (black paper like electrical tape) used to wrap around the wirering harness. On my new truck there fist sized balls of it stuffed in the engine compartment and bits here and there that areb ripped open and torn....I complained to ford Customer servive and they said "thats normal" just curious to know if your truck up there look like the wireing harness was taped by 6 year olds.
