Finally found time to do a strip wash, clay bar, full paint correction, polish, and sealant. Thank goodness for @TheWolf and his process write ups and all the helpful videos online.

Let me say this was the absolute Adams test for me as my paint looked like dog ****. It was scuffed up from brush, covered in water spots, dulled, and overall in poor condition. Thanks to @AdamsPolishes and his advice I ordered the cyclo and accessories, and got down to it. Here's the results. (Couldn't use my computer as it wouldn't let me upload any type of pictures) but I think y'all will get the idea. Props to my girlfriend as well in helping me for 3 or 4 hours. We did a prewash together yesterday and sealed the wheels and tires, then applied the polish today. Next up will be glass and trim, then Patriot wax and HGG.

Thanks! The reflection shot of the rear fender was my favorite. There were some ugly very visible scratches all the way down it before, not to mention the swirl marks that were EVERYWHERE.

Haha I do wish I'd done it sooner. However seeing all the defects in the paint is a bummer. Discovered a chip or two I'll need to fill in with my paint pen too. But overall, incredibly happy with the results.

Ok I think I'm in over my head lol, I've watched videos and read through threads till my eyes hurt. I need a little help with what order to do this all in. I've washed, clay bared, washed again, paint correction polish, paint finishing polish, next comes paint sealant correct? I've still got patriot wax, brilliant glaze, h2o guard and gloss and buttery wax. What order do I need to use all these in or do I even need to use all of them? It's pollen and rainy season here so I'm trying to get all the protection I can get rite now.

This is the order that I use:

1. Strip wash
2. Clay bar
3. Paint correction
4. Sealant
5. Wax

The h2o g&g is for after wash drying (at least that's what I do)

Wax - which ever one you use - is last.

Another thing you may want to do before paint correction, is treat all the rubber and plastic pieces with the VRT first. That way when you do the paint correction it will remove the over-spray-wipe stuff off with it.

Sounds like you got a good start........

You've got it, your steps are correct. After polishing, either do a strip wash to get the polishing oils off, or wipe down with a 50% dilution of Isopropyl Alcohol. You want the paint to be completely clean so the Liquid Paint Sealant gets a good bond, which makes it last longer.

For pollen season, skip the waxes, as they tend to just attract the pollen. Just a layer of Liquid Paint Sealant will be enough protection. After a few washes, use some H2O Guard & Gloss to maintain the Paint Sealant and to add protection to the trim and glass.

Once pollen season is over, then top with a wax of your choice for extra depth and shine. The Brilliant Glaze will also add some more shine, and would be applied on top of the wax.
