Hello everyone. Longtime lurker.
Ordered my new 2014 SCab 6.2L in NJ in October of 2013. Took possession in AZ in February of 2014. Joined this forum today. LOL
Was going to buy a new one this year, but couldn't justify the expense to get a longer vehicle to squeeze into the garage. The little engine didn't do it for me either. Of course the R would do it, but 25% more for fuel?
Soooo, with only 118k miles, I decided to fix the minor issues that have been bugging me, and keep it. Also, the resale value around here is less than $20k. Eff that.
I fixed the center console latch, the broken side piece on the seat, rear camera replacement, and covered the worn red stripe with a cool looking steering wheel cover. The major issues that I had were a damaged moon roof track, fuel pump fuse, and new alternator. Getting the shocks rebuilt currently.
Hope to keep up with some of you with upgrades. Or maybe keep it completely stock.
