Yeah the ceramic coating is diff than a wrap. My guy said it was a 5 year coat but with our winters, salt, etc it would prob be more like 2-3 years. Just depends on climate and exposure to elements. There is also a ceramic enhancer that's like a spray wax that u can use to help maximize durability.
Only downfall is they will prob need truck 2-3 days. 1 day to prep, 1 day to apply, and then a day to sit, set up, and touch up if needed.
I would do whole truck. Front gets bugs and tar and raptors like to sling mud, road grime, etc up the sides. If it was a sports car I say just front bumper and hood.
Okay, I don’t mind spending that much of it keeps it looking the best it can. My problem is finding someplace to do all of that. I’ve had enough trouble around here just finding someone to do a clear wrap. The dealership didn’t even want to do that for me nor offer any other protection options. thank you for your time and advice. You want to do an Xpel wrap over the front clip, and use the matte finish on the gray fender flares and bumper. Probabaly in the $2K-$3K range and then get the ceramic coat over the rest of the truck and over the new Xpel wrap.
