Fiberglass Fender Issues

Anyone else experience something like this?

My guess is it is from some type of fitment issue between the fender and hood. Dealer is looking into it.

That looks like a truck that was wrecked and they didn’t disclose.

Yep, looks like the two panels have been pushed together. Did it come like that or has it developed after driving it?

I’ve had the truck for 13 months and this only appeared recently.

No collisions, offroading, jumps, etc…the gaps between the hood and fenders do now look slightly uneven (wider on driver side) so my best guess is the hinge may have somehow come loose over time allowing it to rub.

Timing worked out at least, was already taking it in for the wiper motor recall and to replace a sun visor (light went out).

I learned something, what other panels are glass on the gen3?

I would think that just misalignment would result in a rub but not cracks like that. Either you hit something or someone hit you.

That APPEARS (not saying it is, saying generally what it's from) to be accident damage- not sure how panels would come out of alignment badly enough to do that much damage themselves. Hope it gets sorted out!
