I put my new fenders on last week , but today i decided to put my new wheels on to take a look at the stance and clearance.

So, I already knew i was going to bend some of the metal back (1) , cut the bumper or buy a new one (3) . I was wondering if i should be cutting out the piece of metal above the bumper (2). By looking at the picture, its a no brainier, but i am not necessarily straight on when i took the picture.

You could just space the bumper forward so it lines up with the fender.
Are those Boatec fenders? How closely did they align on the install?

Looking forward to checking out your rig in May! I'm sure you'll have it all figured out by then! It'll be awesome!!

Yes you need to bend over the lip in the back. Unbolt the flat piece on top, cut approx six relief cuts in the lip and beat it over with a BFH. The front inside part you can trim back till it looks good from the outside. As far as the stock bumper goes never delt with one. Check out my build thread and you can see what I did. Good luck and let me know if you have any more questions.

Looking good...what rims are those? They look pretty deep

Sent from my BlackBerry 9800 using Tapatalk

They are Ballistic Jesters, but they may look a little deep do to the fact that there are no center caps on at the moment.

Yes they are Boatec fenders . I had to do some sanding like any fiberglass fenders, but it was minimal. I was pretty happy with the results.

Stock bumper has to be trimmed. Otherwise the tread can grab and bend it at full compression (especially when landing after catching some air), although tearing it up makes for a good excuse to get an aftermarket one if you're married and need to justify mods haha

Are you on mid perch?

I am on top perch . It rides a little stiffer than it did on mid. I intend on switching the shocks to something else, just wasn't to sure after all the drama in another post as to which one to pick.
