I'd say they are a bit smoother/quieter than the BFG MT's. Yeah, I found them to be a bit rough on pavement. I ended up running them at 35PSI for DD which made a big difference. This is anecdotal - but I had 3 flats while running BFG MT's. Andrew (one of our trial leads who's on every run) has had 3 flats with the Toyo MT's over a season. Not saying everyone will see the same but this is what I've witnessed/experienced first hand.</blockquote>
