i am going to be the buzzkill here, and thats ok. i personnally dont mind the conversation of which types of lights everyone wants. but to create the thread in the vendors section talking about their competitions lights, doesnt seem right to me. this is the area that the vendor pays for, so this is their space. i think this thread should be in the lighting section where you all can have at it. i am the king of bs and sarcasm, but not in a vendors section. we should respect their place and their info and products in their section.
by the way, i had a 40" damaged when i had my accident back in april. i finally got around to getting the light sent in for repair. they fixed it under warranty and had it back to me in less than 10 days. i seriously dont think they have anything to gain by holding out on us with the new light bar. in fact they have a lot to gain by releasing it asap. but what good is a product if it has a defect? my guess is that they are still testing. we beat the crap out of our trucks, having the radius lightbar adds extra length to the bar as well as put more weigth in the center where the curve is farthest from the mounting brackets and sticks out the farthest. due to physics this makes it a weak point at that spot. i would hate to be offroading and the bar snaps in half. then you will be complaining about how the product was made cheap. i am not defending any vendor, just stating facts as i see them. rigid is more than capable of making a comment. as a vendor myself, i would like to see these types of conversations in the general section rather than here.
