Is this Flood Ford in RI. Does anyone have a contact name to purchase extended warranty? I purchased my 2018 on 12/11/17. How long can I wait to purchase extended warranty and still obtain the best price.
Thanks in advance.

IIRC within the first year of purchase(new) is your chance for the best price.

Mine was 8 year 100k for $1675 but I used Flood Ford quote to negotiate. Cancel that and go through flood ford online.

So after some phone calls, my dealer, Phil Long Ford in Denver, spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to tell me that Flood Ford was selling fake warranties, that I absolutely need a warranty and shouldn't cancel, because all these parts are fragile and could cost thousands to fix. Basically argued with me about cancelling, while frequently throwing in the "not that you can't cancel" caveat.

Flood Ford said to cancel, call them and order, and they could get the paperwork done and implement it same day.

I have never got any use out of an extended warranty, anyone here have F150 Raptor specific experience with one saving large financial pain?

$3800 sounds like too much to me though.

Rule of thumb from those owning ecoboost engines to this point highly recommend the extended warranty. Make sure you have full engine/transmission coverage for the time you think you will own it. Cam phaser, timing chain, blown engine, and new transmission will be costly.

Fortunately. None of those problems have been reported with the Raptor.

Now go back down to your mom's basement, troll

You nailed it. That little ******** who used to be sasquatc77 here, now MGD treats his mom like crap. He spends all of his time on the internet and ignoring his school work, talks back to his mother and is really nasty to her.

No doubt he's going to grow up to abuse women, I've seen his misbehavior first hand.

A lot of people have tried to straighten this ******** out, but he keeps sneaking in internet time to troll Ford internet sites.

You may want to check that. Both raptor and regular f150 are having transmissions replaced, and various phaser failures (to the point of requiring new engines).
