My truck is definitely my daily driver. Our trucks are actually so well insulated, I only hear a little rumble under normal acceleration and not much of anything on the highway until I get up to 75 MPH where I once again start hearing a little rumble. I 100% have no issues with phone conversations or chatting with somebody in my truck. If you dive into the throttle hard frequently, then the noise would become intrusive. All that said, those in your neighborhood and driving behind you will hear more than you, so keep that in mind. If you are the type of person that sort of likes listening to the exhaust note of other cars/trucks around you and are not offended by some that might be louder than normal, then I bet you would not go back after if you install the Borla ATAK or Corsa Extreme.
Awesome! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Much appreciated!

I have the ATAK and manual shift in the neighborhood and stay off the throttle to keep the noise down. Have only had it a week and no problems yet. I am sure my neighbors can hear it when it starts. This is not an open bedroom window type of neighborhood or I would be more concerned. I look vex it on the road. If I am off the throttle while decelerating it never pops. The turbo is much more noticeable than with stock exhaust.

My ford perf pops and crackels when I let off the throttle in sport mode sounds kinda cool. I do have the Cobb stage2

Going back and forth on what I want or hoping for in an exhaust. I know that many say just keep it stock and that is certainly where I may land. I really want some louder turbo noise and an exhaust note that is not obnoxious inside or outside the truck during normal daily driving which includes 40-75 mph speeds.
As I’ve been listening to videos and trusted opinions on FRF I’m beginning to lean towards Borla ATAK or Cosa Extreme. I was absolutely convinced that Ford Performance by Borla the Sport version was the answer until so many believe that there isn’t enough bang for the buck.
Any opinions are appreciated.
If going on the louder side, can I install the stock resonator with both the ATAK and Extreme if it becomes louder than expected?
Thanks!

I wouldn't want it any louder than my ford sport. , had a corsa on gen1. And that was waaay too much. If the sport wasn't loud enough , which I doubt you could always add high flow cats

Borla, AWE, and Corsa have been the most popular recently. They all have their own unique sound and are all high quality. Let us know if we can help set anyone up. message me for a quote.

With the Corsa Xtreme system, you can re-install your OEM resonator and that will take you back to the Corsa Sport system sound level.

With the Borla ATAK, you’d need to replace the Borla X-Pipe with the Borla Resonator.

One thing to note, Borla ATAK w/o the resonator will drone at highway speeds. The Corsa Systems do not.

Please let me know if we can help answer any other questions for you!

i could not be happier with my setup. AWE 2FG, which is just the res. delete Hpipe. keeps the same exact sound as stock, but ups the volume moderately on normal driving, and the truck barks when you step on it. i would recommend it to everyone, even the ones saying stock
