Correct me if I am wrong, but if my memory is correct Ducati operated at this capacity for quite some time and only recently became a vendor. Granted he was a active member prior starting his retro biz and not one that joined with the sole intent to self promote. I understand the forums position completely, but in THIS instance the mention of his services were prompted by another members question. Whats he supposed to do, invoke the 5th and stay silent?

Yes, Ducati was promoting his services prior to Supporting Vendor status but as you said, he was a valued member of our community and did not join just to self promote in the way the OP has. Also, when Ducati was doing the retrofits, there was no supporting vendor offering the service so it wasn't really a conflict of interest. Why should we allow an outside vendor to compete with our PAYING vendors?
I'm not trying to be a ******** hall monitor here or anything but would like to protect the interests of those who pay to support our great site. I didn't expect the OP to remain silent when asked about his services but i'm sure most didn't expect the FRF staff to stay silent either. We've had to delete multiple posts from the OP over the past few days and I figured he would've got the point...

Hey guys, sorry to be in the middle of this. Thank you Tizz for explaining how I got started. We were all pretty much the rejects who got banned from the zzzzz and thats really how this forum got started and grew to the biggest Raptor forum online, so I guess we should thank them, lol.
The owners of the forum did let me operate in a "garage sale" thread for a few months because as said, there was no one else offering my service. I discussed it in detail with the admins and as soon as there was a conflict of interest, by a certain vendor who is no longer here, I paid my dues and became a vendor. I actually own them a huge thank you because now I have a LLC. with a website and have reached even more ppl then I was before.
The retrofit world is pretty small, we all know who each other is. Im actually good friends with Bil, a fellow retrofitter - * Custom Retrofitted F150 Bi-Xenon HID Projector Headlights* - bilinvic Retrofits who is one of the biggest perfectionist as far as retro's go. We talk often and have recommended clients to each other but we have a understanding, he doesnt advertise here, I dont advertise on the numerous F150 forums.
Bottom line is F150's are the best selling vehicle for over 30+ years, theres plenty of retros to go around for everyone. I would encourage anyone to become a retro vendor here but I would also recommend that you become part of the forum, get a few hundred post under your belt so the guys know your not just here slinging a product. The Raptor community is a crazy bunch, theres almost a brotherhood that exist beyond a standard F150 owner... IMO thats what makes this forum so great !
