You’re legally allowed to maintain your own vehicle without voiding the warranty. The important thing is to keep maintenance records, not just of the mileage, but also the oil and filter receipt. Motorcraft is the Ford recommended filter, so using those takes the possibility of a warranty issue from a failed aftermarket filter out of the equation.

As far as oil, just use your preferred brand of API certified oil of the correct viscosity. Full synthetic is always preferable.

Just hit 30K on my 19 , Changed oil and filter this past weekend. I do this for proof of Oil Filter changes . Paint marker Date on oil filter with current mileage . Also images of oil purchase receipts. I cut open the old filter as well looking for metal .

Thanks for the replies. I am at 52000 miles and have done oil (many times) , oil filter, spark plugs, front pads and rotors, transfer case oil, differential oil, engine filter, cabin filter. I was going to take it to dealer closer to 60K just to keep my ESP valid , if neccessary.
