Engine Fan Seems to by Running All The Time???

Hello everyone,
I recently put a 91 performance tune on my truck with a CAI. I have noticed over the past 3 weeks that my fan seems to be running just about all the time my engine is on. I don't hear it when driving, but if I stop and get out and the engine is on, the fan is running. Not sure if I should be concerned or it's just the way things are now with a tune. I live in So Cal, and it is summer, but near the coast it's not that hot....I've had my truck for 3 years and have 30,000 miles on it. My temperature gauges are all within normal limits, and the tranny temp is running around 195 degrees. Maybe someone out there might have some advice??? Thanks.

Mine does the same with the SVC tune.

Same thing on my 2014 with 91 perf tune from 5 star. Live in AZ so quite hot right now. Talked to 5 star and they said this is normal.

Same here now that the temps are in the 90's. In the winter they didn't come on as often, but now seem to be on most of the time. I also have the SCT Tuner from 5 Star with the 93 Perf Tune.

We can adjust fan on/off temp! Shoot me an email and we will recalibrate

I have the same issue with mine.
I asked my service guy about it last week.
He says, " it is a 2 speed fan and you will hear it more when the truck is sitting.
When driving, more air is forced through so the fan speed reduces."

When sitting, it sounds like a jet engine.

You guys really need to swap out the thermostat to something cooler.
If your gonna keep the stock 195 degree in there the fans will never cool the coolant in the block and that's where the sensor is.
It takes minutes to do.
I run the 160 in the summer and 195 in the winter.
I going to try a 180 this coming winter and see if the heat is still good, it's not so good with the 160. LOL
