All of the ecoboost era Raptor owners will crap their pants when they see what is coming. It is sad that people are paying premiums for these ecoboosts.

Most of you probably shrugged right past this as his/her normal ecoboost ************, but if you look deeper, and in light of ’77’s known mental instability, this is basically this frustrated, schizophrenic user’s initial signs of “escalation”.

They’ve failed to win any converts despite hundreds of posts that say pretty much exactly the same thing. This leads the emotionally disturbed person or EDP to try harder and harder or “escalate”. Escalation is the typical path EDP with some kind of psychiatric condition from which they initially gain satisfaction.

If you look back historically, Sasquatch77 has repeatedly said things would happen that didn’t come true. As a result, fewer and fewer FRF users even pay attention to him/her, but instead of going away, EDPs continue to up the ante.

This is one of the first visible posts exhibiting escalation and indicative of a very near future psychotic break with actual reality, that is going to result in physical harm to either the EDP or someone else.

Moderators have a ticking time bomb on their hands here with Sasquatch77, and it’s only a matter of time before it escalates into FRF user harassment, stalking or worse.

Sasquatch77, you need psychiatric help, NOW. Please get it before you harm yourself or someone else.

At Raptor Assult, the guy leading the class raced the Baja for Ford. He said the rear drivetrain is maxxed out by the current engine and it will take a major redesign to accommodate a more powerful powerplant. Something to keep in mind for anyone tuning the V6TT. Or those foolishly think something bigger is imminent.

No they don't....they're not even here.

What's going on with that?

I know one is understandably not on here due to a way more important issue going on with family.
But the rest?

Edit, looks like that edmunds thread got locked

...by "rear drivetrain", he was referring to...???

Transfer case and rear diff? Did he include the transmission in that statement? I can't imagine that that would be the case given that the 650 hp Camaro ZL1 runs a version of the same trans (though in a lighter vehicle, to be fair).

Specifically mentioned diff and diff locker, but other parts might need to be reinforced too. At Raptor Assault they are also seeing wear on the U joint pins, but those trucks offroad every day. But it is something to keep an eye on.

Right on... yeah, the trucks at the Raptor Assault are definitely used a hell of a lot harder (a hell of a lot more frequently) than the vast majority of these trucks ever will be. That's how they have to be engineered, though, is for the worst case scenario...

The G2 axle shafted have 31 spline which I think(?) is up 1 from the previous model. As has previously been discussed --at length-- the e-locker won’t engage in 2h because this was seen as a failure point in the <cough> higher horsepower iterations of the G1 <cough> they specifically called out the supercharged 6.2 as being bit harsh on the rear end.

So yes, there’s plenty of hp potential in the eco’ but there is a weak link in every drive train. Fortunately we have beta testers like @Guy, @Bullishone, etc. exploring the tune options, more power and over time we’ll see what parts they break. Thanks guys !
