Dull/yellowed headlights wetsanding

Alright so on my ride the headlights are very dull an yellow with scratches. I'm gonna attempt wet sanding, anyone got some tips or pointers before i start?

I would try the headlight restore kits before wet sanding.

Ford Motor craft Bright metal cleaner is the best and easiest to use... Trick from the old guys 35 years ago... Just rub it in like you are polishing and buff off...

if you must wet sand, i would start with a 1500, then go to 3000, then buff with a good compound.

Used the meguirs (sp?) headlight restore kit, worked wonderfully. I wetsanded a tad bit first as there were scratches and bumps on em. Came out smooth and clear

So PLEASE tell me its not on the Raptor! Its that 1984 Nissasn 210 you drive most of the time!
