Just did the Amsoil HD treatment on the undercarriage of my 2013 Screw.
Looks great and really glad I did it.
While crawling around under there I noticed black duct tape covering holes in frame running along both driver and passenger sides. I left them as is for now.
My question is should I remove the tape? I would think yes, it doesn't look like it would last anyway.
Any negative effects removing it?
I did a search and couldn't find anything.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

You would be amazed on how long that duct tape least haha I have a 2010 and still have that tap under there. I would leave it there cause i don't know where those holes go and you don't want any kind of water going into the cab

Ya know I was thinking the same thing, thats why I left it on. If water got in there, will it have a way to get out ? If I have to I will buy some really good 100mph tape and tape the hell out of it..lol.
Thanks for the reply.

By the way I also just Plasti dipped the shocks with three coats. I know the 2013's have a vinyl covering on them but I figured what the heck.
And I think this Plastidip is gonna get addictive. I'm already thinking of what else
I can spray it on.....hmmmm :party52:

Plastidip is addictive but gets old when washing the truck. To get a nice look when cleaning, a simple spray of WD-40 does wonders to get the new shine back. Just can't wipe hard.

Method NV/37's
Boatec front and Rear fenders
Rigid dually's in fogs

I got the idea from this forum. I didn't get too technical with it, I just used newspaper and painters tape to cover areas I didn't want the plastidip to go and crawled around under the truck and sprayed them evenly. I waited 30 min between coats.
I would take pics but I'm at work now and they wouldn't show much since the plastidip is clear.

10-4. I will get them up for you guys.
Just remember its not much to see being that its clear. It did put a nice protective coat on in that you can really feel. No idea how long it will last though and I was thinking about just to keep putting coats on it to use up the can.
Couldn't hurt I guess.
