Well, I cant believe it actually happened! I put a bug in Randy's ear to find me what I wanted. It seems I finally decided to go Orange about the time I found out I couldnt get it. A couple days later I drove by a dealer with an orange one, so I drove in, and low and behold- It was loaded SCREW, minus the PLUS package, hood decal, and moonroof. I got them to add the backup camera in the mirror for me, and an electric pace edwards bedcover and got it for 51k, plus almost KBB value on my Tundra trade-in. I have to say, it took very little bargaining to get it for the price I wanted. Maybe I came off a little intimidating, as I knew more about their SVT vehicles than they did, and they acknowledged that much. I had two choices really- wait for the new 2012 and get a great deal from Randy, or jump in and get an orange one which at the end of the day I felt I wanted. I like the black, but the orange is what represents what the Raptor is all about- in your face unnecessary overkill on every level.

I got my raptor from McCombs West in San Antonio. Not what I expected- pleasantly surprised by the whole experience so far.
